These terms explain the basis on which appointments and website services are provided by Vitalis Performance & Wellness.

Appointments
Appointments are subject to availability and are confirmed through the Vitalis booking system or by direct communication. Please check that the details supplied when booking are correct and tell Vitalis about any relevant health information that may affect assessment, treatment, rehabilitation or exercise.
Cancellation and rescheduling policy
To make appointment times available fairly to all clients, at least 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or rearrange an appointment.
Appointments cancelled or rearranged with less than 24 hours' notice, and appointments missed without prior notice, may be charged at 100% of the full appointment fee.
Vitalis understands that genuine emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can arise. Please make contact as soon as possible, and exceptional circumstances will be considered fairly at Vitalis's discretion.
Late arrival
If you arrive late, your appointment may need to finish at the original scheduled time so that the next client is not delayed. The full appointment fee may still apply.
Health and medical information
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about your health, injuries, symptoms, medication and any relevant changes in your circumstances. This helps Vitalis decide whether a service is appropriate and provide care as safely as possible.
Information on this website is general and is not a diagnosis or a substitute for individual medical advice, urgent care or emergency services. You may be advised to speak to your GP or another healthcare professional where appropriate.
Sports therapy, rehabilitation and sports massage
Assessment, treatment and rehabilitation recommendations are based on the information available at the time. Techniques and exercise plans may be changed, postponed or stopped where this is considered appropriate.
Responses to treatment vary between individuals, and no particular result, recovery time or outcome can be guaranteed.
Personal training
Personal training sessions are tailored to the individual and are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment.
Please tell Vitalis about any injury, medical condition, medication or change in health that could affect your ability to exercise safely. Exercises may be adapted or stopped if continuing is considered inappropriate or unsafe.
You are encouraged to work within the guidance provided and to communicate promptly if you experience unusual pain, dizziness, shortness of breath or other concerning symptoms.
When a session may be declined or stopped
Vitalis may postpone, modify, decline or stop a session where there are concerns about safety, suitability, illness, inappropriate behaviour, intoxication, incomplete health information or where another form of medical assessment is considered necessary.
Payment
Fees are payable in accordance with the price and payment arrangements confirmed at booking. Payment may be requested at the time of booking or appointment. Any agreed package or prepaid-session terms will be explained before purchase.
Minors
Appointments for anyone under 18 must be arranged with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian. A parent or guardian may be required to attend or remain available depending on the client's age and the nature of the appointment.
Personal belongings
Please take reasonable care of personal belongings brought to the clinic. Vitalis cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage unless caused by negligence.
Website information and availability
Reasonable care is taken to keep website information accurate and current, but content is provided for general information and may be updated without notice. Website or booking-system availability cannot be guaranteed at all times.
Copyright
Website text, branding, photographs and original materials belong to Vitalis Performance & Wellness or are used with permission. They may not be copied, republished or used commercially without prior written permission.
Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with the Vitalis Privacy Policy. Information submitted through the online booking system is also processed through Cliniko.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when services, prices, booking arrangements or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will show when the current version applies.
